Ever since Jae Millz' debut album, Back to tha Future, stalled upon its 2007 release date, not much has been heard from the Harlem rapper. Despite signing with Lil Wayne's Young Money Ent. a few months back, Millz' album has still yet to come. Jae will also discuss his views towards other hip hop artists.

Jae Millz: Thank's for having me
TBT: Lets get started with the first question
J.M.: Shoot
TBT: Alright, you've signed to Young Money, but are you still signed to Wanna Blow Ent.
J.M.: Going against popular belief, I am signed to Wanna Blow still and I am signed to Cash Money/Universal
TBT: So, you're in a deal similar to 50 Cent's
J.M.: Yeah, pretty much
TBT: So you're signed to Wanna Blow/Young Money/Cash Money/Universal
J.M.: I'm so big, it takes four labels to get my music out
TBT: Big man, so, you've released official mixtapes in the place of your album's dates
J.M.: Just to give my fans something
TBT: So, when is your album coming out
J.M.: You know what, really, I'm gonna sit back and focus on what Wayne wanna do and ride off that for now, but I hope to have a mixtape out on November 2
TBT: Still doing big things, so how did the collaboration between you and Mims take place
J.M.: It ain't what you think, me and this boy, Mims ain't cool like he been saying
TBT: What do you mean
J.M.: When I first met Mims back in 96, he was cool, and when I got on in 2004, I gave him some connects
TBT: So, what's the problem
J.M.: I got him connected with Blackout and Corey and them, but my album stalled, and he blew with that "This Is Why I'm Hot" joint
TBT: Yeah, that made him a major force in rap
J.M.: See, when my album got pushed back, Mims acted like he was gonna do so much, he was planning to do remix the hot joint Remy Ma
TBT: He was
J.M.: Yeah, and he got to talkin, and told me that I could get on the track, and it would be on his album
TBT: Really, that was the plan
J.M.: But, when people liked my verse better than his, he changed the plan, he did a remix with Junior Reid and Cham, so when I asked him about it, he told me American King forced him to do that
TBT: So, what did go down
J.M.: He was upset that people liked my version better than his, he pulled my version from radio, and put the reggae mix on, then put it on his album
TBT: Is that why you put it on a mixtape
J.M.: Yeah, since he wasn't gonna use it, that's what I did
TBT: How did he respond to that
J.M.: Instead of being a man about the situation, he acted like he didn't know me no more
TBT: He said in an interview about a year ago that you two talked it out
J.M.: Mims was lying and he knows it, see, he hasn't been through Harlem to hang since, see I'm really disappointed with him
TBT: Why
J.M.: The fact that he's dumbed down so he could get his music out, see me and him did talk in Manhattan a few months after we left Wanna Blow
TBT: What did he say
J.M.: Man, dude was scared out of his drawers, see I came into the building with some big dudes from the hood, that he got problems with, and he tried to hide behind Corey
TBT: Yeah, then what
J.M.: But, he realized that we wasn't there for that, and we got to talkin' and I told him about our label situation, then the presses came around
TBT: What did Mims do then
J.M.: He was talkin like, we was family, he was gonna talk to Capitol about a deal for Wanna Blow, but as you can see, he was lying again
TBT: Why do you think he did that
J.M.: For the show, that's what its all for, when I saw him after that he didn't even shake my hand or nothin, like he didn't know me
TBT: But, Mims said that he wasn't even like that
J.M.: What else was he gonna say, but, I did read his interview where he said he had a lot of clearance for his album that just came out, because American King is the only rap label under Capitol, so he never wanted me there
TBT: Weren't you two both born in Washington Heights
J.M.: Yeah, and that's why he doesn't want me to get on, because if I do get on, I'll be the most successful rapper outta Wash Heights even though I rep Harlem
TBT: I didn't know Mims was like that
J.M.: I bet there's a lot you don't know
TBT: Like what
J.M.: How, hardly nobody from Jersey or New York like this dude
TBT: Like who
J.M.: Man, there was a party in L.A., and everybody was there, he was in V.I.P., I was out on the floor, and J-Hood's song came on, and Mims was drunk, so he started clowning J-Hood, see Hood was gonna get him and his crew, but I stopped them even after he dissed me so many times
TBT: So, that's why J-Hood did that joint
J.M.: Exactly, see, dude is always running his mouth, he was talkin trash about 50 Cent, then some dudes from G-Unit met up with him on the streets, and Mims came back a day later to say, he was misquoted
TBT: How did you know about that
J.M.: See, I'm real cool with some of the street people on G-Unit, and Papoose been wanting to get at him too
TBT: Why
J.M.: Mims running his mouth, and that "A Milli" freestyle was about Mims
TBT: So, who does like Mims
J.M.: His crew, and dudes from the south, but what was funny was that when 50 came after him, he hooked up with Irv Gotti and them
TBT: Do you have any issues with them
J.M.: Nah, man, Murder Inc. and G-Unit both good people, I don't know why that can't get along
TBT: So, you think Mims sold out for his music career
J.M.: This dude went pop, he out there doing songs with Katy Perry, Kylie Minogue, and Britney Spears, this dude sold out for record sales, now his album comes out at number 1 because of all them collaborations
TBT: So you have issues with Stylah and Deadl
J.M.: Yeah, they in the American King crew, and Wanna Blow and American King do not mix
TBT: But, you are cool with Red Cafe, Pitbull, and Currensy
J.M.: Heck yeah, Red Cafe is one of the realest dudes in the game, and Pitbull is straight, and Currensy was signed to Young Money for a while
TBT: Were you two on the label at the same time
J.M.: Briefly, but me and him will probably work together in the future
TBT: Are you planning to diss Mims anytime soon
J.M: We been sending subliminal messages since that remix song, and his Just Like That wasn't about Talib
TBT: So, he was going at you
J.M.: Yeah, he fired the first shot at me, on record, but I responded on record, you just have to pay attention, but listen, Mims always says beefing ain't his style that's when 50 came after him, J-Hood came after him, but when its me, he says we talked it out, cause he know, I ain't really gonna go at him

J.M.: My official mixtape is coming in December, and the album is due in June 2009
